About

I live and work in a small Cotswold town in Oxfordshire and have painted all my life taking part in many competitions and exhibitions. My very first prize at primary school was for painting “Me with my Dog”.  The opportunity to pursue art professionally came much later. After raising my family, I studied part-time for a Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design & Illustration, achieving a Distinction and then continued to graduate with a First Class Honours Degree in 2001.

For many people, pets of all kinds are an important part of their lives. A dog is not only man’s best friend but can also be a great worker, walking companion and fun for the whole family.  A cat on the other hand is independent and aloof , but very funny and sometimes downright annoying by walking across your computer keyboard or sticking its tail in your face when you are concentrating on something important!  Every pet has its distinguishing character. You might work closely with a horse in training preparing for major events or own a loveable fat little family pony in the orchard.

Whatever your pet, I take care in immortalising it’s character in pencil, pastel or watercolour.  Just email good clear photographs to me and tell me a little about your pet. No payment made unless you are completely happy with the result.
